Been a while since I've updated the Features and Fixes section. Dev has been going full-on and looks to continue for the foreseeable future. Some things below will need their own post, but for now, I'll just list them here.
In no particular order:
Do Not Record Seller Downloads
Sellers will not have their IP Addresses tracked when they access the customer's download page. Previously, they used one of the customers access times when they loaded the page. With this change in place we are now able to link directly to the customer's download page within the seller site without fear of having them trigger the download expiration for the IP address access limit.
Store Search Improvement
Small fixes here have yielded much better results. More to come on this front.
Disable Download Function
Sellers can now disable a particular download for an order making it unusable by going to the Order Detail page and clicking on the Disable Downloads button.
Bug Fix to Not Log Pending Order Accesses
When a user accessed the page when the order was pending, the system would count it as a download access even though no download could be made because the order was still pending. This has been fixed so pending order access of the download page will not be counted.
Captcha on Feedback Form
For users who are not logged into the system, they will need to enter a human verification image text value to submit their inquiry. Bots were using this to spam using our mail server so thankfully, that has been closed up.
Prevention of Duplicate Billing Addresses
Even though there are front end checks in place to prevent users from having multiple billing agreements, we have instituted back-end checks for those users who slip through the cracks. Previously, this would cause a double bill issue. No no user can have more than one active billing agreement.
Button Image Editing
In the Code Generator, the user can now change their button used for the buy now button a lot easier now.
Reseller Tracking for PayLoadz Express
Now resellers can choose to send traffic to the PayLoadz Express system and receive credit for it. The Express system is a much easier way to get people into the system.
Subscription Button Generation
This is a big one that I will post more on later. But we can created a new subscription system where users can create digital good subscriptions with a very powerful Send Download system. More here for now.

You can now send a free download to a variety of options. Existing customers, customers of other products, a text file, and a lot more.

Features and Fixes: January and February 2008
Work continues over here at PayLoadz. A lot of small things this month while work continues on the bigger projects. We should have a few of those being released this coming month. Stay tuned...
Drop Down Navigation Menus - Mouse over drop down menus have been added to the top navigation bar to increase the efficiency in which sellers can access common functions of their account.
MassPay Error for Syndication System Payouts - An error has been addressed for website owners using our Syndication System to earn click through payouts.
Delete File Function Updated for New Delivery and Storage System - Delete file function fixed to remove files properly.
Automated Reseller Fee Payouts - The PayLoadz Reseller System now has automated payouts to users on a per click and recurring revenue basis.
Removed Paid Additional Storage - Sellers can simply ask for more storage and we should be able to provide them with the needed amount.
JavaScript Variables on Download Page - Sellers can access the payment variables of the order via JavaScript variables in the download page to use for their own code such as affiliate programs and tracking programs.
Improved SQL Queries for Store - The PayLoadz Store has had a revision of the display queries which have increased their speed and efficiency dramatically.
Affiliate URL Optional in Product Setup - Sellers no longer need to enter and affiliate URL when setting up their product.
Items Missing From Available Affiliate Products - All seller items will appear in the list of Available Affiliate Products in our site if they choose to.
History Search Date Defaults - The selling history now defaults to one day in the future to ensure proper encapsulation of the search results as a default.
From Name in Add Download Email - When using the Add Download Email system to send out downloads manually from our system the seller's Profile Business Name is shown as the From Name in the email instead of just their email address.

Features and Fixes: November and December 2007
Some updates from the last month or so of dev. Things have been a bit hectic with the new delivery system development and roll-out. Things should calm down now as we move into developing other functionality. Thanks for bearing with us during this time.

Unlimited File Storage - We can now offer unlimited storage for accounts with our new file storage and delivery system.
New Delivery System - A more robust and reliable system. Download speeds are much higher and do not require the use of FTP links meaning reduced firewall issues.
Seller Subscription System - Sellers can now sell their products as subscription items. Customers can pay a monthly fee and the seller will be able to send any list of subscribers any product in their account.
Send Download to Existing Customers - Sellers can send a download to any of their existing customers using the same Add Download Email method as when sending a single download.
Increased Bulk Download Limit - Sellers can now send a product download to a list of email addresses they paste into the system. Up to 200 recipients now.
Seller's Note to Send Download - Sellers can add a note when manually sending a download via the web interface. Useful for adding instructions or simple notes.
Enhanced Affiliates Search - Sellers can now search their affiliates using a variety of criteria.

Features and Fixes: October 2007 (Pt. 2)
Here are a few more tweaks to round out this month's work. Still have two bigger projects on the board which is taking some extra effort, but it will be worth it when completed.
Currency Selection on Accounts Page - Users can see our account types and fees in their own currency rather than just USD here.
Currency Conversion for Transaction Volume and Limits - The user's Transaction Limit and Volume used will be shown in the currency they select in their Profile.
Button Code Generator Image Selector - The system that generates the purchase buttons to place in the user's web site now properly uses custom images specified by the user.
Keyword Search in Affiliate Product List - Affiliates can now find products using a keyword search in addition to category here.
Contact Seller on Store Page - A first round version of allowing potential customers to contact the seller directly from the sales page in our store.
Manually Generate MassPay Files - Sellers can now generate their own Affiliate MassPay files using their own date ranges if they prefer.
Discounts - Expanded discount functionality described here.
Send to Friend Improvement - Improved the email that is sent from our store to a friend to include HTML and a direct link to the product.

Features and Fixes: October 2007
Been a long time since the last post, but we've been working nonetheless. Here are a few updates.
Invalid File Alert - When a seller has an invalid file location specified for their product, the system will now prominently display an alert message on the product detail page in their account. The message will also display on the download page. Even though failed delivery is rare, this type of product mis-configuration is the largest issue for non-file delivery.
Featured Listings Link - The ability for a seller to have their product featured in the PayLoadz Store has been linked directly from the Selling tab in their account.
Affiliate Fee Decimal Values - There was an issue with the Affiliate Fee specified in the product setup being rounded to whole numbers instead of retaining the decimal. This has been resolved.
Payment Variables to JavaScript on Download Page - A seller can now obtain all of the needed payment variables on the download page using JavaScript. This is particularly useful if they are using their own affiliate or tracking system using the Download Page Text field in their PayLoadz Profile.
Remember User - We now keep the user logged in for a few days unless they click on the logout link in their account.
History Search for Product - The sales history on the Product Detail page for a product now links to the sales history page for that particular product when clicking
"View All".
Revised Sales Statistics - The Sales Statistics page which contains graphs and figures now can be modified by date and by product, giving better sales history information.
Add Featured Listing Funds Using API - Sellers can now fund their Featured Listings account without leaving the PayLoadz site using the Enhanced Services agreement.
Tracking Syndication System Clicks - The Syndication System now tracks detailed information for each click. This is leading up to allowing us to pay all people who place the system on their web pages to get paid on a per-click basis.
Software Registration System- Single Password - Sellers can now offer a single password in the Software Registration System for their product instead of having to enter a separate password for each customer.
Modify Payment Buttons in Generator - A seller can specify any image or choose from a gallery of images in the purchase button Code Generator system.
Low Key Alert Email - If a seller is delivering product keys with their product, the system now sends them an email when the key count becomes low, indicating they need to replenish their keys.
Seller Id in Affiliate Products - Potential affiliates and sellers offering affiliates can add the query-string variable "uid" to list all products by a specific seller.
We are working on some bigger projects right now, expect them to be live in a month or so.

Features and Fixes: May 2007
Some bugs crept in this month from the pace of development, but we have them sorted out now. A lot of behind the work was done for some major projects we have under wraps. Hope to get them all out the door this Summer.
PayLoadz Store
Results Paging Bug - An issue with the store results paging. Not all products were being shown and some were shown more than once.
User Keywords Integrated in Search - Now the keywords entered by the user's during product creation are included in the search queries.
PayLoadz Site
Bulk Product Import Price Issue - Prices over 1,000 were throwing a SQL insert error. This has been resolved now.
Correct Date Examples - We had pretty poor examples of dates as form field hints on the site. We have corrected these with proper examples that will guide users from other countries.
Google Checkout Bugs - A big issue with GC at the end of the month. Really problematic, but now it is sorted. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Affiliate Products Navigation - Now affiliate products are better sorted and have proper page navigation options.

Features and Fixes: April 2007
Another month of solid progress all around. Here is an update of what we've been working on...
PayLoadz Store
Store Image Upload - A long overdue feature that allows sellers to upload images for their product listings in our Store and in the PayLoadz eBay Store. This increases sales for sellers as products with images outsell products without images by several times.
Require Category and Subcategory When Listing - Small issue that the system would not require both a category and subcategory when listing their product in the store. This would cause the item to not be displayed in searches. Proper listing of items ensures the customers find what they are looking for.
PayLoadz Site
Sales Statistics Charts - The Sales Statistics page has been expanded to host a few other types of stats for our sellers including product performance and history for the past year. Also added some flash based graphs and charts so the sellers can get a visual representation of their performance. Going to expand this functionality. If anyone has any suggestions on what data would be helpful, please add a comment. Providing more information on sales data increases the seller's ability to know what is working and what isn't.
Success Message After New Product - Simple success message after listing an item and link to create another product. Saves two unnecessary clicks. By increasing the ease for sellers to list items in the store, more inventory is created and therefore, more potential for sales.
Enhanced Listings Status - If the seller has an Enhanced Listings Balance, they can choose to enable or disable the Enhanced Listing for the individual product directly on the detail page. Previously, all items in the seller's account were set to "On". By providing the seller with the ability to get preferred placement for their items, they have a better chance of making sales.
Restore Account Access - If a seller exceeds their account limit for an extend period of time and does not upgrade after receiving several warnings, the account is placed offline. Now, when the sales volume drops below the limit, the account access is restore automatically. Permanently removing account access does neither the seller, nor PayLoadz, any good. Showing them the value of the system will increase the chances of them paying for the service.
Email Notifications Email Address - Updated all email communication from our system to be from one of two email addresses, sales or support at PayLoadz.
Code Generation Page - A centralized code generation area for all products a seller has in our system. Can customize the type of code and purchase buttons to be displayed. Very useful. Making it easier for sellers to get selling code means more sales buttons on the net. More buttons increases the chances for sales.
Registration System XML Bug - Sellers requiring registration keys pulled from a web-based script were required to provide a specif XML result to our system. It required the nodes to be present for multiple keys even if only one key was needed. This requirement has been removed.
Direct Link to Subscription Modification Alert Email - Transaction Limit emails now include a direct customized subscription modification link that allows the seller to modify their PayLoadz subscription to the correct level without logging into their PayLoadz account.
Sort by Columns - Sales and Product Histories both allow the seller to sort items by categories. Providing data easily and clearly to the seller reduces stress and frustration.
User-Defined and System Keywords - Sellers can specify a set of related keywords for their products in the Store listings in addition to the ones generated by the system itself. This should increase the effectiveness of our product placements. By providing more relevant keywords, correct products will be presented to potential customers thereby increasing sales.
In-line HTML Editor - A rich HTML editor has been added to product setup to allow sellers to create better looking and more informative product descriptions for their products. We store the HTML and also store a plain text copy version of the product description for our own use. Being able to present product information more clearly increases sales conversions for our sellers.
Contextual Help System - Depending on which page is being viewed, relevant help for that page will be displayed to the seller. Enabling the seller to get help for the system decreases support time and frustration when using the system.
PayLoadz Syndication
Multiple Ad Formats and Customized Appearance - Affiliates who take advantage of our Affiliate Syndication System can now chose from a variety of ad formats. The ad formats can also be modified in terms of font, color, sizing, etc. These changes should help to increase the number of installations. Increasing the installations of the system, means happier affiliates and more sales for the seller.
PayLoadz eBay Store
Auction Format Bug - A small bug was affecting the format of the auction listings. This has been fixed.
Auction Admin Approval - New sellers were previously not allowed to sell on the PayLoadz eBay Store. We now have the ability to approve individual products via an administration page. More inventory in the store means more potential for sales.
Enable eBay Listing on Product Setup Page - Sellers can now list their item in the PayLoadz eBay Store without having to go through a separate process. All listing duties are done via the Product Setup page. Making it as easy as possible to list in the store means more inventory and a greater potential for sales.

Enable eBay Listing on Product Setup Page - Sellers can now list their item in the PayLoadz eBay Store without having to go through a separate process. All listing duties are done via the Product Setup page. Making it as easy as possible to list in the store means more inventory and a greater potential for sales.

Features and Fixes: March 2007
Just thought I'd add a new blog series to keep everyone updated on our work over here.
PayLoadz Store
History Length Display - The PayLoadz Store allows for a user history (searches, products viewed, etc.) to be displayed on the right hand column. This would wrap to two lines and off-set the design in some cases. We have limited the length here for extra long values.
Category Preservation in Search - When a user is browsing a specific category and initiates a search with "search only this category" checked, then the search will keep the category values in the search results.

Swapped Store and Affiliate Information in Product Setup - In the product creation process, we moved the store listing information just below the basic product information where the affiliate info used to be. We moved the affiliate info to the bottom. It seems like a more logical flow as people access the store information more often.
Affiliates Status Page Form Tags - During porting to the new site design, the affiliates status page where sellers approve and edit their affiliate information did not retain all of the form elements that were required to work. Simple fix.
Shopping Cart Price Bug - There was an annoying bug with prices over 1,000.00 that was causing the cart to error due to a FormatNumber issue. This has been fixed.
Keyword File in Product Setup - Sellers can enter their own product keywords for their products during listing. This will help our store search engine, the ad syndication system, and also for our paid placement listings like Google AdWords.
Buyer Purchase History Search - Added a better search capability to the customer purchase history page. Now they can search by several different types of values based on product, date, or seller.
Clickable Active Navigation Tabs - When a user is in a particular section of the site, the active tab is clickable and returns them back to the section homepage. Simple, but useful. PayPal does not have this and a user is forced to click a separate tab, then go back and click the original tab of they want to access the section start page.

Pass JavaScript Values to Ad Code - The new PayLoadz Ad Syndication system allows for user defined design elements like font type, size, colors, etc. Users can now edit this information directly in the chunk of HTML we give them to customize the look of their ads. Several different ad formats will be out in a day or two.
PayLoadz eBay Store
Product Deletion, End Auction - When sellers who had a product listed in our store delete the product from our system, the eBay auction was orphaned. Using an eBay API call, the auction is now ended.
